My room tour!

So this post as you can probably tell my the title is going to be my room tour, I thought it would be nice to do one know as my room has just been redecorated my furniture is mostly from ikea, I hope you like this post!
*this is not me trying to show anything off, I'm just showing you my room*

Okay so first off is my bed and my beautiful dog, unfortunately I don't know if you can still get this bed as it was £75 in the sale as they were discontinuing this size (it's from ikea)

These are my bed sheets also from ikea, I couldn't not buy them, they're so cute! And instead of buttons to seal the sheets they have the gourgous little bows, I love these so much, they're so soft!

I'm pretty sure most girls in England have this dressing table, it's so beautiful and has lots of storage! And of course it's from ikea as well

These are just some of the products on my dressing table, these are my faveourite moustourisers, and my faveourite perfumes.

This is such an awful picture of my bedside table, but it was the only one I got, it's the one that matches my bed also from ikea.

This is my cactus from homebase it lives on my bedside table, I love cactuses I think there so cute.

That's just my windowsill, the rabbit is from homebase, the plant and plant pot is from ikea and the candle holder is from homebase as well.

And this is my fab birdcage from dunelm, it's also on my bedside table.

This is one of the large plant pots from ikea but I use this one as a bin! I think it's so cute and makes a bin look a bit nicer!

These are where I store my clothes because my room isn't big enough for a wardrobe, so I think these are the Hermes chest of six drawers, there so spacious and manage to fit everything in I love them! And these are from ikea.

And then last but not least, on top of my drawes I have my TV and DVD player, my TV is the Panasonic 3D 42" TV (I think) it's too big for my room though'

I hope you liked this post, and again this was not me trying to show off! Goodbye! Xx

John Green Book Reveiw

I love John Green books because I think that he's amazing. My faveourite book is 'The Fault In Our Stars' I've already done a reveiw on this tho so I wont waste time typing about it again, so you can read again here if you want - http://sophiepoppynewman.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/the-fault-in-our-stars-reveiw.html

I don't want to bore you going on and on about the other 4 books so I will do quick summaries of them...

Looking for Alaska -

This book was again amazing, but I think he was trying to hard to live up to the tfios expectations. I think the story line was amazing, and I loved the characters, it's a shame how he ended it, I think he's better with beggining's rather than endings. If you tfios then you will love this.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson -

I reallllly didnt like this book, I think the problem was that there was 2 authors, because he wrote it with David Levithan but I'm reading one of his books right now and thats really good. The story just got so confusing and annoying. But I guess if you like story like that then this will be the one for you. I think the story just dragged on for too long.

Paper Towns -

This book is so so good! after reading Will Grayson, Will Grayson I really just wanted an amazing book and I got one yay! I love Love LOve this book, it really makes you think about your veiw of perspective on people and everyday life and kind of makes you want to run away from everything, and it let you, reading that book was almost like an escape. It was so good, I reccomend it highly!

An Abundance of Catherines -

This book was ok, well the story line was good, but the actually writting was a bit off, I think every other book John Green is amazing and the others are not as good, its a shame because the story could of been different and beautiful, it felt rushed. I did enjoy it though.

Seventeen Reveiw

So last weekend I was in boots and their was 3 for 2 on Seventeen, and I only really buy the 'Stay Pout' lipsticks from them but I thought I should give them a go.

Va Va Voom Mascara -

I bought this because of the brush, I love mascara's with big brushes because thin brushes don't do much for my eyelayshes. When I applied it I really liked it because with most mascaras I have to apply like 1001 coats to get it right, where as one coat with this made them look really natural. I tend to have a problem with uneven eyelashes, and this actually helped, I would reccomend this!

Miricale Matte Powder Foundation -

Normally I use the Rimmel Stay Matte powder but it always cracked so I thought I'd try this one because it was also a compact. When I first looked at it, the shade didnt look as pale as I would of hoped. It was more of a orangey shade, but when I applied it, it just blended and looked really good. The only problem is that it's a bit cakey.

Miricale Matte Concelar -

I got this mainly because this was the same range as the powder, and I hoped that using the same range would actually work. I don't like this concelar however it's this perfect shade which is a shame. I think I prefer liquid concelar like the one I got from Elf.

Stay Pout Lipstick -

Yes I got another Stay Pout! I love them!! There just amazing! They mouisterise, they stay on, the shades are beautiful (although they could add some more plum colours to the collection) and their container is beautiful too. This shade is Saintly although this picture is a bit off because the shade is alot paler than this, must of been the flash.

Okay goodbye for now!

V05

My favourite hair product brand is V05 because the products are amazing and also have such a nice smell, I have really frizzy hair and these both sort of tame it and they all have heat protection in which is fab. The smoothly does it cream just smooths frizz down and like all my split end sort of just disappear, yay. The plump it up spray is prefect when you just want a volume boost. I would recommend these products and they tend to be on offer too!

Real Techniques - Core Collection

So this is a bit of a late post, for my birthday in November I got the Real Techniques Core Collection brush set, I'm not one if those girls who wants to be like a make up artist, so I dont really know what each and every single one is supposed to be used for , I just use them for what I think is best.
So this is the buffing brush, and I use it for my powder foundation, it's really good with the coverage, it gives covers all of my face without having to use as much which is great!
This one is the contour brush, now I don't know what the hell that means, but I think it makes a really good brush for my blusher. It's really soft and again, good with coverage.
This is the pointed foundation brush, I actually use this for foundation, but liquid only, I've tried using it with the Maybelline Mouse foundation, but it went all clumpy in the strands. But it's perfect for liquid foundation.
And then the final one of the bunch is the detailer brush, just like with the contour brush, I don't know what I'm supposed to use it for, I maay be right in using it for concelar but then again, I'm probably not. Anway, this isn't my faveourite brush, but it sure is good for concelar.

Nars Eyeshadow - Ashes to Ashes

So at the weekend I was on Asos looking at the make up because I was planning to get the 'Pore-Fessional' from Benefit, but then I stumbled across a collection of Nars eyeshadow's. I was going to get a more sort of nude colour, but then I seen 'Ashes to Ashes' and it reminded me of a show me and my Mum used to watch. I didn't buy it just because of this, I bought it because it's just a beautiful colour.
I wanted to do a reveiw on this because it was so expensive I thought I should let you all know if it's worth it or not, when i opened the box I was a little shocked at the size, but the colour is exactley what I was going for.
The eyeshadow is so pigmented, it's definatley worth the money just by a first glance! It's the perfect size for my make up bag because it's always overflowing!

this is just an up close photo, I love the colour so much, it's perfect for Autum, such a shame it's coming on to spring, but I think it will blend nicley with my nude shades.

Lush Bath Bomb - Sex Bomb

I've wanted to do a Lush bath product for a while and I thought I would reveiw on of the most popular bombs on Instagram.

It really does smell amazing and looks beautiful too. When you put it in the bath it instantly turns the water a really nice shade of pink. The smell is also immediate, it's a really relaxing smell, its like rose mixed with lavender. Almost too relaxing as I almost fell asleep in the bath!

The Rose on top is also a really nice touch. Once the bomb has fizzed it leaves the Rose behind, it's like one of those soap Roses that just stays untill you get rid of it. I would deffinatlety recommend this bath bomb!
